Fresh from collaborating with robots, Haiku Salut has concocted another event that explores technology and thought to launch third album There Is No Elsewhere.

The details of this happening are suitably vague, and intriguing. Tagged as a night of ‘celebration, togetherness, escapism’, the band are ‘handing over’ their exceptional new record with a ‘mysterious VR experience’ and ‘a Haiku performance (of sorts)’.

This will be the only time to partake in this unique experience ‘in being, time and substance in the way it was intended’ and those in attendance will experience it alone.

“You are the special ones,” state the band.

Taking part in the bowls of an ancient pub in the city of Derby; the concept, the setting and the music it is unleashing make this event unmissable.

There Is No Elsewhere will be available on CD and vinyl, a day before the official release and Haiku Salut will be DJing into the night with tunes befitting the occasion. There will even be canapes!

But ultimately there is no itinerary for the party. They are simply ‘manipulating time and space’.

This event is on Thursday 6th September at The Tudor Rooms (The Old Bell) in Derby and is pay-what-you-can.
